These are to “advance education of the public in the life and works of Charles Darwin in particular but not exclusively by:

Preserving his birthplace at The Mount in Shrewsbury
Undertaking research for the benefit of the public into his life with reference to his birth in Shrewsbury, his family, friends, connections, schooling and formative years spent in Shrewsbury and the county of Shropshire and his intellectual development generally.”
